AN ACT CONCERNING PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TAXES FOR STATE
HOUSING AUTHORITY PROPERTIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 203 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
state to provide payment in lieu of taxes to municipalities for State 2
Housing Authority properties, paid at one hundred per cent of the 3
amount of property taxes that, except for the exemption in section 12-81 4
of the general statutes, would have been paid. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To provide municipalities with payment in lieu of taxes for state
housing authority properties.
