AN ACT STOPPING FURTHER INCREASES IN THE MINIMUM WAGE
AND REDUCING THE MINIMUM WAGE FOR MINORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to cease further minimum wage 1
increases beyond twelve dollars per hour, and to establish a new 2
minimum wage rate of eleven dollars per hour for persons under 3
eighteen years of age. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To promote a more pro-growth economic environment and to increase
the employment rate of entry-level workers.
