1818 AN ACT PROHIBITING EMPLOYERS FROM TAKING ADVERSE
1919 ACTION AGAINST AN EMPLOYEE FOR DECLINING A VACCINE.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to prohibit employers from 1
2424 taking adverse action against an employee for declining a vaccine. An 2
2525 employer, including a licensed health facility, shall not take adverse 3
2626 action against an employee or an applicant for employment based on 4
2727 the employee's or applicant's immunization status. An aggrieved person 5
2828 may file a civil action for injunctive, affirmative and equitable relief. 6
2929 Additionally, the Department of Public Health shall not require a health 7
3030 facility to ensure that the health facility's employees receive 8
3131 vaccinations. 9

3333 To prohibit employers from taking adverse action against an employee
