20 | 20 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |

23 | 23 | That the general statutes be amended to prohibit employers from 1 | |
24 | 24 | taking adverse action against an employee for declining a vaccine. An 2 | |
25 | 25 | employer, including a licensed health facility, shall not take adverse 3 | |
26 | 26 | action against an employee or an applicant for employment based on 4 | |
27 | 27 | the employee's or applicant's immunization status. An aggrieved person 5 | |
28 | 28 | may file a civil action for injunctive, affirmative and equitable relief. 6 | |
29 | 29 | Additionally, the Department of Public Health shall not require a health 7 | |
30 | 30 | facility to ensure that the health facility's employees receive 8 | |
31 | 31 | vaccinations. 9 | |
