AN ACT LIMITING WAGE INCREASES IN ARBITRATION AWARDS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit binding arbitration 1
awards for increased wages pursuant to collective bargaining 2
negotiations from exceeding the level increase reflected in the prevailing 3
Consumer Price Index. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To amend the collective bargaining statutes to limit binding arbitration
awards to not more than the Consumer Price Index.
