AN ACT CONCERNING AUTOMATIC ENROLLMENT IN THE
CONNECTICUT EMERGENCY ALERTING AND NOTIFICATION
SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow automatic enrollment 1
of all residents in the Connecticut Emergency Alerting and Notification 2
System by the telephone number or cable television service of such 3
resident. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To improve community awareness of and response to emergencies and
reduce abuse of the emergency system.
