| 20 | 20 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |

| 23 | 23 | That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the 1 | |
| 24 | 24 | Secretary of the State shall (1) annually complete a canvass of each 2 | |
| 25 | 25 | residence in each municipality, update the voter registration 3 | |
| 26 | 26 | information for any elector who was able to be confirmed from such 4 | |
| 27 | 27 | canvass and maintain a record of any elector who was not able to be so 5 | |
| 28 | 28 | confirmed, and (2) not mail an unsolicited absentee ballot application to 6 | |
