AN ACT REQUIRING BUSINESSES RECEIVING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO MAKE GOOD FAITH EFFORTS TO EMPLOY PERSONS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER OR INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require that any business 1 receiving financial assistance from the Department of Economic and 2 Community Development make good faith efforts to employ persons 3 with autism spectrum disorder or intellectual and developmental 4 disabilities. 5 Statement of Purpose: To require businesses receiving financial assistance from the Department of Economic and Community Development to make good Proposed Bill No. 6358 LCO No. 2342 2 of 2 faith efforts to employ persons with autism spectrum disorder or intellectual and developmental disabilities.
