| 25 | 25 | | Section 1. (NEW) (Effective January 1, 2022) No insurer, health care 1 |

| 26 | 26 | | center, hospital service corporation, medical service corporation, 2 |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | fraternal benefit society or other entity that delivers, issues for delivery, 3 |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | renews, amends or continues an individual or group health insurance 4 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | policy providing coverage of the type specified in subdivisions (1), (2), 5 |

| 30 | 30 | | (4), (11) and (12) of section 38a-469 of the general statutes in this state on 6 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | or after January 1, 2022, shall pay a reduced reimbursement to a licensed 7 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | health care provider who provides a covered benefit within such 8 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | provider's scope of practice solely because such provider is a podiatrist. 9 |
