| 27 | 27 | | Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2021) (a) For purposes of this 1 |

| 28 | 28 | | section, "natural barrier" means trees, shrubs, bushes or other vegetation 2 |

| 33 | 33 | | Authority shall adopt regulations, in accordance with chapter 54 of the 7 |

| 34 | 34 | | general statutes, requiring the preservation and maintenance of existing 8 |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | natural barriers by each electric distribution company. The Public 9 |

| 36 | 36 | | Utilities Regulatory Authority may initiate a proceeding to consider the 10 |
