2424 Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) The Commissioner of Energy and 1
2525 Environmental Protection shall conduct a study of all statutory and 2
2626 regulatory requirements related to stormwater sampling and analysis 3
2727 made pursuant to the municipal separate storm sewer system 4
2828 permitting process and of permit holders, to determine the feasibility of 5
2929 modifying such requirements to ease financial burdens on permit 6
3030 applicants and holders while maintaining environmental safeguards. 7
3131 (b) Not later than January 1, 2022, the Commissioner of Energy and 8
3232 Environmental Protection shall submit a report, in accordance with the 9
3333 provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing 10
3434 committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 11
3535 relating to municipalities and the environment. Such report shall 12
3636 include a summary of the requirements described in subsection (a) of 13
3737 this section and any recommendations for modifying such 14
