2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2626 Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Social Services 1
2727 shall, to the extent permissible under federal law, provide Medicaid 2
2828 reimbursement for authorized services provided to a Medicaid recipient 3
2929 by a person authorized to practice without a license as a marital and 4
3030 family therapy associate, as defined in subdivision (4) of section 20-195a 5
3131 of the general statutes, pursuant to Executive Order No. 7V of Governor 6
3232 Ned Lamont. The commissioner shall seek any federal approval 7
3333 necessary to implement the provisions of this section. 8
3434 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
