23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
24 | 24 | Assembly convened: | |

26 | 26 | Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Social Services 1 | |
27 | 27 | shall, to the extent permissible under federal law, provide Medicaid 2 | |
28 | 28 | reimbursement for authorized services provided to a Medicaid recipient 3 | |
29 | 29 | by a person authorized to practice without a license as a marital and 4 | |
30 | 30 | family therapy associate, as defined in subdivision (4) of section 20-195a 5 | |
31 | 31 | of the general statutes, pursuant to Executive Order No. 7V of Governor 6 | |
32 | 32 | Ned Lamont. The commissioner shall seek any federal approval 7 | |
33 | 33 | necessary to implement the provisions of this section. 8 | |
