AN ACT CONCERNING TH E CONVEYANCE OF A PA RCEL OF STATE
LAND IN THE TOWN OF WOLCOTT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) Notwithstanding any provision 1
of the general statutes, the Commissioner of Transportation shall convey 2
to Daniel Wallas a parcel of land located in the town of Wolcott, at the 3
cost of six thousand dollars, plus the administrative costs of making 4
such conveyance. Said parcel of land has an area of approximately .21 5
acre and is identified as the parcel shown as "RELEASE AREA" on a map 6
entitled "Preliminary, Compilation Plan, Town of Wolcott Map Showing 7
Land Released to Daniel Wallas By the State of Connecticut, Department 8
of Transportation, Wolcott Road (CT Route 69), Scale 1"=40', September 9
2019, Mark D. Rolfe, P.E., Chief Engineer-Bureau of Engineering and 10
Construction". The conveyance shall be subject to the approval of the 11
State Properties Review Board. 12
(b) The State Properties Review Board shall complete its review of the 13
conveyance of said parcel of land not later than thirty days after it 14 Raised Bill No. 6678

receives a proposed agreement from the Department of Transportation. 15
The land shall remain under the care and control of said department 16
until a conveyance is made in accordance with the provisions of this 17
section. The State Treasurer shall execute and deliver any deed or 18
instrument necessary for a conveyance under this section. The 19
Commissioner of Transportation shall have the sole responsibility for all 20
other incidents of such conveyance. Any funds received by said 21
department from a sale of said parcel in accordance with this section 22
shall be transferred to the State Treasurer for deposit in the Special 23
Transportation Fund. 24
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

To convey a parcel of state land in the town of Wolcott for six thousand
dollars.
