21	21		AN ACT CONCERNING TH E CONVEYANCE OF A PA RCEL OF STATE
22	22		LAND IN THE CITY OF HARTFORD AT 30 TRINITY STREET TO THE
23	23		CAPITAL REGION DEVEL OPMENT AUTHORITY.
24	24		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
25	25		Assembly convened:

27	27		Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) Notwithstanding any provision 1
28	28		of the general statutes, the Commissioner of Administrative Services 2
29	29		shall convey to the Capital Region Development Authority a parcel of 3
30	30		land located at 30 Trinity Street in the city of Hartford and any 4
31	31		improvements on said parcel, at a cost equal to the administrative costs 5
32	32		of making such conveyance. Said parcel of land has an area of 6
33	33		approximately .79 acre and is identified as Lot 008 in Block 443 on city 7
34	34		of Hartford Tax Assessor's Map 246, located at 30 Trinity Street. The 8
35	35		conveyance shall be subject to the approval of the State Properties 9
36	36		Review Board. 10
37	37		(b) The Capital Region Development Authority shall use said parcel 11
38	38		of land for housing and economic development purposes. If the Capital 12

46		-	years after the conveyance, the parcel and any improvements on said 14

47	46		parcel shall revert to the state of Connecticut. 15
48	47		(c) The State Properties Review Board shall complete its review of the 16
49	48		conveyance of said parcel of land and improvements not later than 17
50	49		thirty days after it receives a proposed agreement from the Department 18
51	50		of Administrative Services. The land and any improvement thereon 19
52	51		shall remain under the care and control of said department until a 20
53	52		conveyance is made in accordance with the provisions of this section. 21
54	53		The State Treasurer shall execute and deliver any deed or instrument 22
55	54		necessary for a conveyance under this section, which deed or instrument 23
56	55		shall include provisions to carry out the purposes of subsection (b) of 24
57	56		this section. The Commissioner of Administrative Services shall have 25
58	57		the sole responsibility for all other incidents of such conveyance. 26
