Resolved by this Assembly: That section 10 of article third of the Constitution of the state be 1 amended to provide that no senator or representative shall serve more 2 than ten consecutive years in either office or both offices combined, and 3 to require a lapse of at least two years after such consecutive ten-year 4 period before a person may be a candidate for either office again. 5 Statement of Purpose: To establish term limits for legislators.
