AN ACT RAISING THE PERSONAL NEEDS ALLOWANCE FOR
CERTAIN RESIDENTS OF LONG-TERM CARE INSTITUTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to increase the 1
amount of money, from sixty to seventy-two dollars, that residents of 2
long-term care institutions who receive medical assistance may keep for 3
personal needs. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the amount of money residents of long-term care institutions
who receive medical assistance may keep for personal needs.
