AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF PFAS IN FIREFIGHTING FOAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of PFAS in 1
firefighting foams and to establish a take-back program for such 2
chemicals. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the use of PFAS in firefighting foams and establish a take-
back program for such chemicals.
