1818 AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC OPTIONS FOR HEALTH CARE IN
1919 CONNECTICUT.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to: (1) Establish the 1
2424 ConnectHealth Program, the ConnectHealth Trust Account and the 2
2525 ConnectHealth Advisory Board; (2) require the Comptroller, in 3
2626 consultation with the ConnectHealth Advisory Board and the Office of 4
2727 Health Strategy, to establish the ConnectHealth Plan; (3) authorize the 5
2828 Comptroller to offer coverage to plan participants and beneficiaries in 6
2929 this state under a multiemployer plan, nonprofit employers and their 7
3030 employees, and small employers and their employees; and (4) require 8
3131 the Commissioner of Social Services to seek to amend the federal waiver 9
3232 for the state-wide dental plan that provides for the administration of the 10
3333 dental services portion of the department's medical assistance to expand 11
3434 coverage to include additional individuals in this state. 12
3535 Statement of Purpose:
