AN ACT CONCERNING DENTAL INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR
CHILDREN, STEPCHILDREN AND OTHER DEPENDENT CHILDREN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 38a-497 and 38a-512b of the general statutes be 1
amended to allow children, stepchildren and other dependent children 2
to retain dental insurance coverage under their parents' insurance 3
policies until they attain the age of twenty-six or obtain substitute 4
coverage through an employer. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow children, stepchildren and other dependent children to retain
dental insurance coverage under their parents' insurance policies until
they attain the age of twenty-six or obtain substitute coverage through
an employer.
