1818 AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO IDENTITY DOCUMENTS BY
1919 HOMELESS YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2323 That title 7 of the general statutes be amended to waive the fee for a 1
2424 certified copy of a birth certificate for youth and young adults who are 2
2525 homeless to enable them to obtain identity documents for purposes of 3
2626 accessing employment, participating in community-based programs 4
2727 and obtaining housing and other supports. 5
2828 Statement of Purpose:
2929 To waive the fee for a certified copy of a birth certificate for youth and
3030 young adults who are homeless to enable them to obtain identity
