AN ACT CONCERNING FLASHING LIGHTS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL
EMERGENCY RESPONSE VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (c) of section 14-96q of the general statutes be 1
amended to allow the use of flashing blue lights on a motor vehicle 2
operated by a member of an emergency response unit of the Department 3
of Energy and Environmental Protection while on the way to or at the 4
scene of an environmental emergency requiring such member's service. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To include members of an emergency response unit of the Department
of Energy and Environmental Protection providing environmental
emergency services among those authorized to display flashing lights.
