AN ACT INCREASING FUNDING FOR TOBACCO PREVENTION AND
CESSATION EFFORTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of twelve million dollars be appropriated to the 1
Department of Public Health, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year 2
ending June 30, 2022, to provide additional funding for tobacco 3
prevention and cessation efforts. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide an additional twelve million dollars in the state budget for
tobacco prevention and cessation efforts.
