AN ACT CONCERNING THE IMPORT AND TRADE OF THE BIG SIX
AFRICAN SPECIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the import, sale and 1
possession of the big six African species which consist of African 2
elephants, lions, leopards, black rhinoceros, white rhinoceros and 3
giraffes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the import and trade of the big six African species.
