AN ACT INCREASING THE CRIMINAL PENALTIES FOR MALICIOUS
PROSECUTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 53-39 of the general statutes be amended to increase the 1
criminal penalties for malicious prosecution to a fine of not more than 2
one thousand dollars or imprisonment of not more than two years. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the criminal penalties for malicious prosecution.
