AN ACT PROHIBITING STATE RESIDENTS FROM USING
ELECTRONIC BENEFIT TRANSFER CARDS OUTSIDE OF THE
UNITED STATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit state 1
residents from using electronic benefit transfer cards issued by the state 2
outside the United States. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit state residents from using electronic benefit transfer cards
issued by the state outside the United States.
