AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF GUIDE DOGS AND ASSISTANCE DOGS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That sections 46a-44 and 46a-64 of the general statutes be amended to 1 prohibit anyone from requiring a blind person using a guide dog or a 2 deaf or mobility impaired person using an assistance dog to disclose the 3 reason for use of the dog as a condition of bringing the dog onto public 4 transportation or into a place of public accommodation. 5 Statement of Purpose: To prohibit anyone from asking an individual the reason for using a guide dog or assistance dog as a condition of bringing the dog onto public transportation or into a place of public accommodation.
