1818 AN ACT PROVIDING CERTAIN BENEFITS TO HMONG LAOTIAN
1919 SPECIAL GUERILLA UNITS WHO SERVED IN THE KINGDOM OF
2020 LAOS.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That the general statutes be amended to provide the following 1
2525 benefits to members of the Hmong Laotian special guerilla units who 2
2626 served in the secret war in the Kingdom of Laos during the Vietnam 3
2727 War: (1) Special certificate of registration and a set of numbered plates 4
2828 for motor vehicles; (2) listed as a veteran on motor vehicle operators' 5
2929 licenses; (3) funeral expenses paid by the state for members with 6
3030 insufficient funds; (4) burial in a veterans' cemetery; and (5) a medal and 7
3131 ribbon issued by the Commissioner of Veterans Affairs. 8
3232 Statement of Purpose:
3333 To provide certain benefits to members of the Hmong Laotian special
3434 guerilla units who served in the secret war in the Kingdom of Laos
3535 during the Vietnam War.
