AN ACT CONCERNING PASSENGER RESTRICTIONS ON HOLDERS OF MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR'S LICENSES WHO ARE SIXTEEN OR SEVENTEEN YEARS OF AGE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That subsection (c) of section 14-36g of the general statutes be 1 amended to exempt a person who holds a motor vehicle operator's 2 license and is sixteen or seventeen years of age from the passenger 3 restrictions contained in subdivision (1) of subsection (a) of section 14-4 36g of the general statutes for the purpose of transporting a sibling to 5 and from school. 6 Statement of Purpose: To permit a person who holds a motor vehicle operator's license and is sixteen or seventeen years of age to transport a sibling to and from school for the period of six months after the date of issuance of such license.
