1818 AN ACT CONCERNING CONSUMER PRIVACY.
1919 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2020 Assembly convened:

2222 That the general statutes be amended to (1) require businesses to 1
2323 disclose the proposed use of any personal information, (2) give 2
2424 consumers the right to discover what personal information such 3
2525 business possesses and to opt out of the sale of such information, and 4
2626 (3) create a cause of action and penalties for violations of such 5
2727 requirements. 6
