AN ACT CONCERNING A COVID -19 MEMORIAL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Economic and Community Development to establish a process by 2
which members of the public may submit proposals for a COVID-19 3
memorial to a panel of architects, sculptors and landscape architects 4
convened by the Office of the Arts within the Department of Economic 5
and Community Development and that such memorial be erected in a 6
state park. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To honor the thousands of lives lost in Connecticut due to the COVID-
19 pandemic by erecting a memorial.
