1818 AN ACT REQUIRING TRAVEL SERVICE BUSINESSES TO OFFER
1919 REFUNDS FOR TRAVEL CANCELLED DUE TO ILLNESS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2323 That the general statutes be amended to require that any entity selling 1
2424 travel services in the state offer to state residents full refunds for travel 2
2525 cancelled due to illness, including, but not limited to COVID-19. Such 3
2626 refunds may be in the form of equal credit with the company offering 4
2727 the travel service. 5
2828 Statement of Purpose:
2929 To protect consumers from losing money on travel-related cancellations
3030 due to illness.
