AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF CONNECTICUT HIGHER
EDUCATION TRUST FUNDS FOR FIRE TRAINING SCHOOLS,
PRIVATE OCCUPATIONAL SCHOOLS AND OTHER TRAINING
PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Office of Higher Education be required to develop state 1
accreditation for fire training schools and review the same process for 2
private occupational schools and other training programs for the 3
purpose of qualifying such schools and programs under federal 4
regulations to receive Connecticut Higher Education Trust Funds. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To develop a state accreditation for fire training schools and review the
same process for private occupational schools and other training
programs to qualify such schools and programs under federal
regulations to receive Connecticut Higher Education Trust Funds.
