AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PILOT PROGRAM TO PROVIDE A TAX
CREDIT FOR HOSPITALS THAT OFFER IN-PATIENT TREATMENT
FOR OPIOID ADDICTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 211a of the general statutes be amended to establish a pilot 1
program allowing a tax credit to hospitals that make beds available for 2
the treatment and care of individuals suffering from opioid addiction.3
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage in-patient treatment of individuals suffering from opioid
addiction.
