AN ACT CONCERNING THE INSURANCE PLAIN LANGUAGE ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 38a-299 of the general statutes be amended to require 1
that insurance policies be printed in not less than twelve-point font to 2
ensure that consumers are able to read them. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require that insurance policies be printed in not less than twelve-
point font to ensure that consumers are able to read them.
