AN ACT LIMITING CHANGES TO PRESCRIPTION DRUG
FORMULARIES AND LISTS OF COVERED DRUGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to limit the 1
circumstances in which a health carrier may remove a prescription drug 2
from a drug formulary or list of covered drugs, or move a prescription 3
drug to a different cost-sharing tier, during a plan year. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the circumstances in which a health carrier may remove a
prescription drug from a drug formulary or list of covered drugs, or
move a prescription drug to a different cost-sharing tier, during a plan
year.
