AN ACT REQUIRING A REVIEW OF THE PREMIUM RATE
ADJUSTMENT PROCESS FOR LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE
POLICIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require a review 1
of the rate adjustment process for long-term care insurance policy 2
premiums that has resulted in substantially increased premiums over 3
the preceding two years. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require a review of the rate adjustment process for long-term care
insurance policy premiums that has resulted in substantially increased
premiums over the preceding two years.
