AN ACT REQUIRING CERTAIN HEALTH INSURERS TO OFFER AND 
SELL A QUALIFIED HEALTH PLAN THROUGH THE CONNECTICUT 
HEALTH INSURANCE EXCHANGE. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require health 1 
insurers that deliver, issue for delivery, renew, amend or continue 2 
health insurance policies in this state to offer and sell at least one 3 
qualified health plan through the Connecticut Health Insurance 4 
Exchange. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To require health insurers that deliver, issue for delivery, renew, amend 
or continue health insurance policies in this state to offer and sell at least 
one qualified health plan through the Connecticut Health Insurance 
Exchange.
