AN ACT PROVIDING IMMUNITY FOR HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS
FOR TREATMENT PROVIDED IN SUPPORT OF THE STATE'S
RESPONSE TO COVID -19.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide health care 1
professionals and health care facilities with immunity from suit for civil 2
liability, including any common law claims or statutory causes of action, 3
for injury or death allegedly caused by acts and omissions undertaken 4
in good faith in support of the state of Connecticut's COVID-19 5
response. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide health care professionals and health care facilities with
immunity from suit for civil liability for injury or death allegedly caused
by acts and omissions undertaken in good faith in support of the state
of Connecticut's COVID-19 response.
