AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SHARED TABLE INITIATIVE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Department of Education, in consultation with the Department of Public 2
Health, to develop guidelines for the implementation of shared tables in 3
cafeterias in public schools, and to authorize local and regional boards 4
of education to implement shared tables in their public schools. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Education, in consultation with the
Department of Public Health, to develop guidelines for the
implementation of shared tables at public schools, and to authorize
public schools to implement shared tables.
