AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCLUSION OF NATIVE AMERICAN
STUDIES IN THE SOCIAL STUDIES CURRICULUM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-16b of the general statutes be amended to include 1
Native American studies as part of the social studies curriculum for 2
school districts. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To accurately reflect our history by including Native American studies
in the public school curriculum.
