AN ACT EXCLUDING SCHOOL SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE
IMPROVEMENT GRANTS FROM THE CALCULATION OF A SCHOOL
DISTRICT'S MINIMUM BUDGET REQUIREMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-262j of the general statutes be amended to exclude 1
any grants received by a local or regional board of education for school 2
security infrastructure improvements from the calculation of its 3
minimum budget requirement. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that one-time school security infrastructure improvement
grants do not inflate a school district's minimum budget requirement.
