AN ACT CONCERNING THE EXPANSION OF THE OPEN CHOICE
PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subdivision (1) of subsection (c) of section 10-266aa of the 1
general statutes be amended to expand the interdistrict public school 2
attendance program to include the Norwalk and Danbury regions, and 3
that the appropriation for the program is increased in order to fund such 4
program expansion. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To expand educational opportunities for Connecticut students by
authorizing the Open Choice Program to place students from the
Norwalk and Danbury school districts into neighboring school districts.
