AN ACT CONCERNING THE TAXATION OF AQUACULTURE
OPERATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide certain farmland tax 1
exemptions for marine-based aquaculture operations and facilities, 2
including lands used for shellfish. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To provide tax exemptions for marine-based aquaculture operations
and facilities.
