AN ACT EXEMPTING PLANT -BASED, BIODEGRADABLE AND
COMPOSTABLE BAGS FROM THE PLASTIC BAG FEE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to exempt plant-based, 1
biodegradable and compostable bags from the plastic bags fee. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt certain biodegradable and compostable bags from the plastic
bags fee.
