AN ACT EXEMPTING SOCIAL SECURITY INCOME AND PENSION
AND ANNUITY INCOME FROM THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to exempt from 1
the personal income tax Social Security income and income from 2
pensions and annuities. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To exempt from the personal income tax Social Security income and
income from pensions and annuities.
