AN ACT CONCERNING A LEGISLATIVE REVIEW OF STATE 
MANDATES. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
Section 1. (Effective from passage) Not later than February 1, 2022, the 1 
joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of 2 
matters relating to government administration shall (1) complete a 3 
review of all existing state mandates imposed under any provision of 4 
the general statutes or any public or special act, and (2) submit a report 5 
to the General Assembly concerning such review, in accordance with 6 
the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes. 7 
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following 
sections: 
 
Section 1 from passage New section 
 
Statement of Purpose:   
To require a legislative review of all state mandates.
