AN ACT REQUIRING AN ANALYSIS OF THE CONSTITUTIONALITY
OF PROPOSED LEGISLATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 2-56 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
legislative commissioners to conduct an analysis of the constitutionality 2
of all raised and committee bills. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To provide legislators with information regarding the constitutionality
of proposed legislation.
