AN ACT DETERRING ABUSE OF PROTECTIONS AFFORDED TO
OWNERS OF SERVICE ANIMALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prevent abuse of the special 1
protections that are afforded to service animals and the owners of such 2
animals, including, but not limited to, establishing penalties for persons 3
who represent animals not trained as service animals as such animals. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent abuse of the special protections that are afforded to service
animals and the owners of such animals.
