AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR
MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIRS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require health 1
insurance coverage for: (1) Motorized wheelchairs, including, but not 2
limited to, used motorized wheelchairs; (2) motorized wheelchair 3
repairs; and (3) motorized wheelchair battery replacements. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require health insurance coverage for: (1) Motorized wheelchairs,
including, but not limited to, used motorized wheelchairs; (2) motorized
wheelchair repairs; and (3) motorized wheelchair battery replacements.
