AN ACT REQUIRING THE CONNECTICUT HEALTH INSURANCE
EXCHANGE TO REPORT ADDITIONAL DATA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 38a-1092 of the general statutes be amended to require 1
the board of directors of the exchange established pursuant to section 2
38a-1081 of the general statutes to report to the joint standing 3
committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 4
relating to insurance and public health, on a monthly basis: (1) The 5
number of individuals who enrolled in Medicaid through such 6
exchange; and (2) the number of individuals who enrolled in a qualified 7
health plan through such exchange, the plans purchased, the source of 8
such enrollees' prior coverage, if any, and the number of such enrollees 9
receiving federal subsidies to purchase a qualified health plan through 10
such exchange. 11
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange board of
directors to report additional data to the Insurance and Public Health
committees.
