AN ACT CONCERNING THE PREVENTION OF DISCRIMINATION
AGAINST PERSONS WITH AN INTELLECTUAL OR
DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY SEEKING TO RECEIVE AN ORGAN
TRANSPLANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit discrimination 1
against an individual with an intellectual or developmental disability 2
who is seeking to become a recipient of an organ in the organ transplant 3
process. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent discrimination in the transplant recipient process.
